Knights sweep IIAC outdoor track and field titles
Wartburg rolled up its ninth consecutive and 11th overall Iowa Conference outdoor women's track and field title with a meet record 279.25 points, while the men claimed their sixth IIAC team championship since 1999 with 186 points at the conclusion of the 2008 championships Saturday, May 10. Head coach Marcus Newsom added to the Orange and Black celebration by being named the men's and women's Coach of the Year.
