Large group earns USTFCCCA academic honors
Wartburg College placed seven men and nine women on the 2008 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III indoor and outdoor all-academic teams, released earlier this week. Senior men's athlete Andy Hodge of Marion, the 2008 1500 meter national champion, was named a Division III Outdoor Scholar Athlete of the Year. He also led off Wartburg's distance medley team that finished fourth at the indoor national championships.
