Jennifer Walker - "In my 20th year of coaching at Wartburg you would think I would have this season outlook thing all figured out. Not even close. If I were to go back through all of my clever pre-season write-ups and predictions, I would probably find that some might have been close, but none of them got it exactly right. Why, because the IIAC has provided surprise finishes almost every season I have been here. It's a great conference to coach in and the idea that any team can win on any night makes that much more enjoyable. I'm excited to see what our team will accomplish this year. We have another group of talented, hard-working, dedicated athletes that make it fun to be in the gym every day. So, for the 2017 season, I will do nothing but anticipate the same sort of excitement in underdog upsets and traditional powerhouse victories that the IIAC has given us year in and year out."
