MINNEAPOLIS-- The two-time defending Iowa Conference Champions were ranked No. 6 in the d3football.com Top 25 Preseason poll, the organization recently announced. This marks the highest ranking in the preseason poll for Wartburg since it was also ranked sixth in the poll prior to the 2004 season.

Wartburg will open the season Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. against Augsburg.
