DUBUQUE, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's lacrosse team won its second game and also earned its second Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference game in the 9-8 triple overtime win against Loras Sunday.

The Duhawks took the early 3-0 lead, but the Knights answered back with five consecutive goals to take the lead. Loras scored once more just before halftime to whittle the margin to one.

The game was knotted seven all at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime.

The Orange and Black's Ashley Lahti (Turtle Lake, Wis.) had the game-winner on an assist from classmate Megan Howe (Monona). Senior Niki Harrison (Rochester, Minn.) had her second hat trick of the season with her career-high three goals.

Wartburg's goal total tied a single-game program best as this previously occurred against Cornell on March 14.

The Knights return to the field Friday when they host Aurora at 3 p.m.
