WILMINGTON, Ohio—The Wartburg women's cross country competed at nationals earlier today.

The Knights placed 25^th as a team with 609 points.

Individually, senior Serena Goetzl (Urbandale) was the Knights top finisher overall. She placed 72^nd with a time of 23:02.1.
Other Knights runners include senior Morgan Gerdes (Waterloo) finished 100^th with a time of 23:14.3, junior Maddie Kleve (Urbandale) finished 186^th with a time of 23:49.8, freshman Beth Mallon (Davenport) finished 214^th with a time of 24:09.8, junior Sarah Shirar (Marshalltown) finished 223 with a time of 24:13.9, sophomore Dakota Tell (Epworth) finished 233^rd with a time of 24:20.8 and senior Erin Sawyers (Winterset) finished 238^th with a time of 24:23.5.
