Pella, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's cross country team placed fourth with 173 team points. Serena Goetzl was the Knights' top finisher in 11^th place with a time of 22:14:2. Teammate Morgan Gerdes finished in 19^th place at the meet and second for Wartburg with a 22.31.2 time.

From Coach Johnson, "It is fun for the women to find themselves, they have come a long way from the middle of the season."

The Orange and Black have earned an at-large bid to the National Championships. This is the 16^th consecutive year Wartburg has qualified for Nationals with either an individual or as a team.
