WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 21 Wartburg volleyball team moved to 3-1 on the year with its 3-0 sweep against non-conference opponent Grinnell (1-3) Tuesday.

The Knights were victorious 25-13, 25-12 and 25-13.

Senior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) led the charge with her 15 kills. Juniosr Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) and Ramey Sieck (Fayette) narrowly missed double-digits with nine and eight kills, respectively.

Ramey tallied 28 set assists as she ran the Orange and Black's offense.

Classmate Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) had 11 digs on the night.

As a team, Wartburg held the advantages in blocks (4-2), kills (42-12), hitting percentage (.333 vs. -.092), service aces (7-3) and digs (29-22).

The Knights take to the road this weekend as they travel to compete in Bethany Lutheran's Invite in Mankato, Minn.
