Head coach Alan Johnson - The former All-Iowa Conference performer is in his first year at the helm of the Wartburg College men's golf program.

Johnson fills the vacancy left by former head coach Ted Reuter who stepped down at the end of the 2008 campaign. Wartburg's new coach is no stranger to success on the links, having played on the 2004 Iowa Conference championship squad and earning all-league honors in 2005.

“I'm excited to begin working with a good group of young, talented players this fall,” Johnson said. “I think this group will be able to strengthen the base of the team. I believe my experience as a Wartburg student-athlete will be valuable to the program.”
