MVP Giving Level

Interested parents, fans, alumni and friends of Wartburg now have the ability to give even more assistance to Knights athletic programs. An MVP stage of giving has been added to the athletic booster club's plans for 2006-07.

Gifts to the college's athletic programs can be allotted to multiple programs at a time and also as head coaching endowments, travel fund endowments, gifts-in-kind (i.e. uniforms, equipment, etc.) and corporate sponsorships. Wartburg's athletic program, ranking among the best in NCAA Division III, has already benefited greatly from such gifts, including:

• Underground sprinkler systems

• Lead gift for $130,000 weight room renovation

• Continuing education for coaches at state and national clinics

• Padded logo chairs for the performance gym

• Updated treatment equipment in the training room

• Computer video editing systems for scouting, game and practice breakdown

• Production costs to create DVD for recruiting

• Softball field cage netting replacement

• New uniforms for teams

• Expanded travel opportunities

When a gift of $1,000 or more is planned for the athletic program, individuals will be recognized with the following gifts from the college:

- MVP Plaque

- Ten all-sports passes

- 10% discount on all Booster Club merchandise

(excluding online purchases)

- Two complimentary tickets to Hall of Fame Banquet

- Invitation to attend practice

- Team schedules

- Invitation to all Booster Club events

- Recognition in programs
