Wartburg clinches IIAC tourney title
Bolstered by a complete game outing from junior Jerrold Martijn of Oranjestaud, Aruba, Wartburg College clinched the Iowa Conference's automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Division III baseball tournament Saturday, May 10. Martijn, increasing his record to 4-3, kept fifth-seeded Loras off balance throughout Wartburg's 10-2 win in the ultimate championship game at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
